ON THE MOVE on my BIRTHDAY!

I had my 1 year doctor appointment on May 14th, 2009, 1 day after by birthday. I was 31 inches long and sill weighed 22 lbs 8 oz. I am longer, but don't weigh any more! I had to get 5 shots. It wasn't my most favorite visit! But everything looks good! I, of course, still have a big head! Next visit 15 months! I am glad I don't have to go back there for awhile. My doctor is super, but those nurses keep giving me the pokes!

Daddy is done with school in a couple weeks! Then we head out on vacations! Lake Tahoe and then to Minnesota! So much fun, I can't wait! In the meantime, I plan to spend a lot of time in the pool!

Update and My 1st Vacation!

From MOMMY: Been too long since the last post. When Riley started to crawl, it suddenly meant that I spent a lot more time chasing him around and a lot less time posting pictures! On Jan 29th, we discovered that Riley had a tooth! Shortly after that, the second on popped up! Now he has two coming in on the top, but not the ones I would expect. The "fangs" are coming in! He looks like a vampire! A cute vampire that is!

I had my 9th month check-up about 2 weeks early and weighed 22 pounds and 8 ounces! Everything else was good. My head is still extra large, but??

We did it! We went out of town on a vacation and I had so much fun! We were going to go to Tahoe skiing, but plans changed. We went to Sunny San Diego instead! We spent 4 days and 3 nights enjoying the sites and the city. We went to the beach, to Seaworld and to Balboa park. Below are lots of pictures. It was just great! I can't wait to go back to California. Maybe next time I will see MICKEY!

My First Christmas

I had lots of family at my house for Christmas! Mommy's parents and daddy's mom and brother all came to spend time with me at my first Christmas! I got loads of presents...new toys and adorable outfits! Thank you to everyone that sent out Christmas cards! It was so good to hear from you all! I got the cutest stocking from mommy's friend Jen! Can't wait until next year so I can hang it up myself!

I am very close to crawling. Up on my hands and knees and rocking...just can't quite get it yet.

I also am getting some teeth (pretty sure). I don't want to eat, I am cranky, and I put everything I can in my mouth to chomp on!

I am wearing 12 month clothes most of the time. The 9 month ones are sometimes fitting, but I am getting a belly so they are snug!!

Mommy and daddy say the best Christmas present that they got was.....ME! They are amazed by me everyday and think that time is going by way too fast.

Here I am on the living room floor! I rolled over to my tummy on my own and then this is what I do... a big push up and then wiggle my legs! After about 15 minutes, I get tired and roll back over.

6 Month Well Baby Visit

I had my 6 month Well Baby Visit on Tuesday! I was 18 pounds and 28 inches long! Everything was good. I had to get 4 shots...2 in each leg and it didn't make me very happy!

I was doing pretty well sleeping through the night, but now the last few nights I have been waking up again. Hopefully I can get back on a roll. Mommy and daddy sure enjoyed the sleep!

I'm how big???

Been trying for an hour to get a slide show to work and I am going to try tomorrow one more time! I think the site is not working correctly. Went to the doctor today for a little rash that I have on my chest and tummy and I weighed 17 pounds 8 ounces! I like to eat!

I spend lots of time in my jumperoo and rolling over on the floor. I am very alert and like to grab hold of anything and throw it on the floor...busy busy busy.

How BIG?

I had a little operation done on Friday October 10th, 3 days before I was 5 months old! They weighed and measured me prior to the operation and I was 16 pounds 14 ounces and 27 inches long! BOY have I grown!

My procedure went really well. I got a little cold after and had some fever, but I seem to be doing better now and am all around on the mend! Mommy and daddy are WIPED out...but I'm happy!

Grandma and Grandpa White were here for awhile to see me and Grandpa went back to Minnesota. Grandma is still here and is going to watch me for a few days while I don't have daycare! I am so excited! Grandma spoils me ALREADY!

4 Month Check-up

I had my 4 month well baby visit today! I weighed 15 lbs 8 oz and was 26.25 inches long! Doctor said that I was doing great! Then came the SHOTS! I really didn't like them at all...real tears and everything. But, I got 3 tazmanian devil bandaids on my legs! That sure made it feel much better.

Tomorrow, I am 18 weeks old already! I have started to roll over and then back. I like to be on my tummy!

Riley went to daycare!

I went to daycare this week starting on Tuesday! I have been doing really well there and Theresa says that I am a "good" baby! I like to watch all the other kids there and when I get home, I am tired out!

Last night, I slept from 10:30 until 7:30! Mommy and daddy got a pretty good nights sleep!

Tonight, I ate 8 ounces of baa baa and a tub of green beans! I am filled up! Now I am playing with daddy until bedtime!

Mommy and daddy are looking forward to the weekend. Maybe they can get caught up on some rest!
